Update: The Cardboard Superheroes exhibit is now closed. The National Automobile Museum is excited to announce the opening of its next changing exhibit, Cardboard Superheroes! Cardboard Superheroes was founded by teenage brothers Connor and Bauer Lee. Their creations range from life-size models of Iron Man, C-3PO, Groot, Wall-E, Wonder Woman, Hulkbuster, R2D2, and baby Yoda to weapons like Thor’s hammer and Captain America’s shield. Cardboard Superheroes is a non-profit organization with a mission to promote creative thinking and learning as well as the arts in education. It is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) driven organization pushing the boundaries of educating the next generation. Cardboard Superheroes will be unveiled on Monday, August 22, with a grand opening celebration planned for Saturday, August 27, 2022.
“The Museum is a 501(c)(3) founded for educational purposes. We welcome opportunities to highlight the work of these game-changing STEAM innovators as we seek to fulfill our educational mission,” said Phil MacDougall, NAM’s executive director.
“We strive to bring exhibits and displays that appeal to everyone, and who doesn’t love a superhero?”
The exhibit runs through October 21, 2022, and is included with the purchase of admission tickets or your membership.
